Upon receipt of the full registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration. Please bring this confirmation to the registration desk at the conference centre as proof of your registration.

Cancellation and refund policy

Refund of registration fees, less 25% administrative charges, can be applied for in writing until 14.03.2014 to the Organising Secretariat in Basel, Switzerland (Please see address below). After this date no refund will be possible. For any change of names, a fee of €25 will be charged. If the participant is not attending the conference, and has not respected the cancellation / refund policy, the complete registration costs have to be paid.

Invitation letter

The organisers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once the full registration fees have been received. It is to be understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. You may request such a letter from the Administrative Secretariat at

Payment of fees

All fees for congress registration and workshops should be paid in Euro (€) in advance to the Organising Secretariat of the International Liver Congress™ 2014, clearly stating the participant’s name and address.
All bank fees and money transferred costs are at the responsibility of the payer and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

If you have already registered for the International Liver Congress™ 2014 and you wish to make additional bookings for any Workshops, please use your conference profile.
If you are registered by a company/sponsor/agency we kindly ask you to contact us by email ( and to inform us about the workshop you would like to register for.
Please note that an online registration for teaching courses is not possible in this case.

Press Registration

Press may register for The International Liver CongressTM 2014 free of charge when supporting credentials are supplied.

Please note that your request for complimentary press registration will only be reviewed by the EASL Press Office and confirmed if the following documentation is submitted together with your registration:

  1. Photocopy (both sides) of your valid Press ID
  2. A letter from the editor of the institution/journal you are working as a press member
    Website address and information of the institution/journal for which you are working as a press member
  3. Article/story published under your own by-line in the media institution for whom you are working as a press member.
